I have tried all the steps on all the advised ways to update the driver for the Insignia USB-Bluetooth 4.0 dongle. NONE work. I have purchased a 'driver' updater and it did not work. Got my $ back. There seems to be NO solution to this issue. I don't own an HP computer but an Intel based NUC computer. I will likely try an ASUS dongle. They seem to supply the drivers for their device. Insignia DOES NOT.
BCM20702A0 Insignia Bluetooth adapter not working, driver error/unavailable driver
I have been using this bluetooth adapter for the past year when it decided all of the sudden yestreday it wanted to stop working. I think it was because i was building another PC and maybe the signals interfered with one another and now the driver became corrupted is my guess. I have been working at this issue for 6 hours yestreday and i have watched 10 youtube videos and read maybe 15 articles and none of the fixes work, can i do anything besides trying to reboot the PC completely?
I tried updating the driver, uninstalling the drivers and plugging the bluetooth adapter back in, i tried using drivereasy to reinstall the driver. Look at the pictures below
When i use the bluetooth troubleshooter it shows this as a result -
It says this but the problem still persists. I get this error message too
How do i fix this? this is so frustrating because i just keep going in circles

As you guessed, if your Bluetooth device is too close to any other USB device that’s plugged into a USB 3.0 port, then the USB device can sometimes interfere with Bluetooth connections. For your Bluetooth issue, check if your Bluetooth device is detected as an unknown device in Windows:
Press Windows logo key + R at the same time on your keyboard > type shell:::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A} and press Enter key on your keyboard. If your Bluetooth device becomes unknown device indeed, right click on it > Select Properties. If you can find Services tab, uncheck all the options in this tab and re-select them again, and see if there will be any difference.
Here are other things you can do:
- Try the general Bluetooth driver from HP (if you haven't done so): sp75330.exe (hp.com)
- Download and install USB to Bluetooth dongle driver from Microsoft Update Catalog (if you haven't done so): Microsoft Update Catalog
- Uninstall the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager, and then reinstall it: Open Device Manager > select Bluetooth. Press and hold (or right-click) the Bluetooth adapter name (which may include the word “radio”), and select Uninstall device> Uninstall > Restart your PC. If Windows doesn't reinstall the driver automatically, open Device Manager and select Action > Scan for hardware changes.
If you've updated Windows or drivers recently, go back to your previous version of Windows and drivers and try again. Download and install an older version of Windows and drivers from your PC manufacturer if you are unable to do so.
In addition, try resetting BIOS to factory default settings. Sometimes, Bluetooth problems can be caused by outdated or incorrect BIOS settings. It is recommended to reset the BIOS to the factory default settings. You may need to contact your PC manufacturer about how to do so.
