I cannot use my phone's 5ghz WiFi hotspot on my PC, even though it supports it

So recently I've purchased a "new" computer, I installed windows on it.. yada yada,

Here's the problem:

I use my phone's personal hotspot, because it is better than my home wifi, and when I use the 5ghz band it connects without a problem on my previous computer, but on this one it doesn't even detect it!

I've searched far and wide and it appears I'm the only one with this kind of a problem

I have followed all of the guides available here and on some other websites, but to no avail.

I've installed all of the necessary drivers and I even checked my supported radio types using

"netsh wlan show drivers"

If anyone is able to help I will gladly appreciate it

Have you been able to connect to the 5g wifi in the past on your computer?

In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt. The Command Prompt button will appear. To the right of it, select Run as administrator > Yes.

At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:

Type netsh winsock reset and select Enter.

Type netsh int ip reset and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /release and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /renew and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /flushdns and select Enter.

It appears that the Wireless mode has been on auto already
