Hyperx cloud alpha S mic not working on Windows 11

Hello, I just purchased a new computer with Windows 11 , the model is Dell G15 5511, and when trying to use my headset Hyperx Cloud Alpha S the mic is not recognized, nor are the headphones being recognized as headphones (recognized as speakers). I have tried to update all of my audio and other drivers, tried to reinstall all the sound drivers, ran the windows troubleshooting tests, looked through every and all forums but I can't find anything at all that has worked. I have used the headset on Windows 10 on my old laptop and it is working perfectly fine. As shown in the picture, the microphone doesn’t have the same bar as the microphone in the laptop itself. I have contacted tech support from both Hyperx and Dell but no solution has been provided. ![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/11b65d8a-03d2-46e2-b1a1-fa40b5526df8?platform=QnA

    Hello Xz233, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that you are having problems connecting your Hyperx cloud alpha S headphones on Windows 11;

    Initially I recommend that you try to uninstall the audio drivers;

    Right-click on the start menu and go to Device Manager;

    Click (>) Sound, video and game controllers to expand the session;

    Right-click on the first device under (>) Sound, video and game controllers and select Uninstall device;

    Repeat this process on all devices listed under (>) Sound, video and game controllers;

    Do the same process in (>) Audio Inputs and Outputs;

    Unplug your headphones and restart your PC;

    Plug in your headset and check if the headset and microphone are recognized;

    Hope this helps, see you soon!

    Hello, I have tried all those steps and my Windows 11 is up to date. I am unsure to do at this point other than getting a new microphone.

    Hi, I have tried all the steps above and my mic is still not working, and whenever I connect my headset and select on the Sound in settings, the system always lags. I have tried to run troubleshooting for audio and it shows that my audio services is not responding. And I cannot adjust the level of the mic as shown in the picture. What other methods should I use then?

    Thank You! Really appreciate any help!!
