Ihave an older AMD based system that is hooked to a toshiba TV to use as a screen while it displays ok and dose well under Windows 10 it dont load a driver for it as a toshiba tv just a generic monitor yet windows 10 in Devices and printers correctly identifies it as a toshiba TV is there a better driver I can load to get it to show as a tv or best yet a toshiba TV in device manager which may fix some of the minor issues i have with it from time to time.

    Hi Becky,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

There would be no specific driver for that TV available for Windows, the only thing you can load is a generic driver with the correct resolution and refresh rate for the TV.

Ok I sort o thought that was the answer its just it used to show a toshiba tv driver when i used it under Win 7 and Win 8 which it would auto recognise no worries but no driver in win 10 but it knows what it is else where is sort of a backward step to me i it then just falls under a generic driver state
