What the HIPM/DIPM modes means in AHCI link power management settings that in the power options ??

In the power options, There is the hard disk option which inside of it there is the AHCI Link power management option. and there is 5 options of it in both "on battery" or "on plugged in" :

1.Active

2.HIPM

3.HIPM+DIPM

4.DIPM

5.Lowest

I'm just wondering for what that options mean, and if they have an bad effect on my SSD (about speed and power consumption) or not,

And which one should i choose for better write/read speed..
