the other pcie is working for the card, now that's annoying if and when i upgrade my gpu will it work or be fully broken
Nvidia "Graphics driver couldn't find compatible graphics hardware & not compatible with this version of windows"
This is a new PC Build, with old parts included. The new parts are 13700k, MSI z690 pro A, Corsair RM850.
My previous build used the same MSI 2070s for 4 years and had 0 issues when using it with a different mobo throughout those years.
I took advice and Re-installed a fresh windows.
Now to the problem
when plugging hdmi/dp into the gpu i get no display. Device Manager it shows no 2070s even with "show hidden enabled".
I then try to install the GPU Drivers making sure I have the right version of windows selected and 64 bit and when I try to install it i get this error . My Windows Version
Error is
"This NVIDIA Graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows"
"This Graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware"
I have made sure the power cables are securely connected to the GPU and it is sat correctly into the pcie slot. Here is my MOBO I have my GPU in the PCI_E1 slot and here is more details HERE .
The GPU was working in the new PC for 4 days no issues, Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

2022-12-19T20:31:32+00:00 You are using the dch driver yes? You could try the standard though since its Windows 10 and I'm quite sure dch isn't forced there as of yet.
Also double check you have a driver actually for that GPU. Some of the driver names can appear confusing until you look deeper so its possible to grab a completely wrong driver.
Also, it could be related to the motherboard slot itself and its damaged or failed in some way. You can try the other slot since it looks like you have 2 or 3 of them. Those slots can fail yet look like they are fine.
It could also be the PSU cable. You didn't mention if the GPU fan is running or not.
You can also try an older driver and see if that helps. Even recent drivers can have various issues such as not installing on certain GPUs under certain situations.
You could also see if there's a newer BIOS since that's a part of how a GPU functions. More of an unlikely thing but slightly possible. BIOS's are for certain people a conflict with GPU drivers or the hardware.
I suppose it could be the GPU itself. If you have a spare then testing that would provide the fastest insight possible. Obviously if a 2nd known working GPU still isn't found then its a motherboard or PSU related issue.
Except for incredibly rare things, that should be about it. Its a 2070 super so even Windows should install a driver automatically so it shouldn't be related to Windows except for the wrong driver.
