I am having a difficult time getting used to the Win 11 explorer.

I am using StartAllBack and that has helped make Explorer look a bit like Win7

What I don't understand is this:

When I click on a folder to open it does not show in the navigagion pane.

How can I get Win 11 to look more like Win 7 explorer?

See the attached for a Win 7/11 comparison.

Thanks,

WV-Mike

    Hi WVMike,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

In Windows 11, they have created a new File Explorer app and it is not possible to get that to look like Windows 7, not even with a 3rd party utility, because that app is so new, it will take tie for software developers to be able to change that app.

To make the navigation pane more like a slightly older version, right click an empty spot in the navigation pane and turn on 'Show all folders'
