Hi team,

I recently bought a ugreen 5.3 bluetooth dongle, Unfortunately, windows 11 22h2 is only installing a Generic driver from 2006.

Tried looking for any available repo for this hardware ID, USB\VID_10D7&PID_B012&REV_8891 no result.

At least for me the only Windows 11 BT USB adapter driver was found in the Windows Update > other drivers section. Its buried deep in there on Windows 11. Someone else has seen this too but had it show up later after they first checked. The manufacturer had no direct driver download for Windows 11 so this was all there was in my case.

Just note, don't install anything else in there unless you have a problem or its driver is missing :)

For some reason its recently not installed automatically or at least right away when it should be. I've no idea why that's happening other than a Windows bug.

I have some issues here with this generic driver, Paired devices is not connecting.
In some cases, Bluetooth adapter is not working. current workaround is to remove dongle and repair Bluetooth devices.

under optional updates, no pending installation for drivers.

You update drivers from the PC maker only, and not Device Manager,

That driver is part of the chipset drivers

I have used the drivers for Bluetooth 5.0 dongle and they work just fine for the 5.3 dongle.

I installed them from the site below: https://oemdrivers.com/bluetooth-ugreen-bluetooth-5-0-adapter

After unzipping the downloaded file, please run the setup.exe.

You may have to unplug and plug in the dongle once but otherwise this one worked well.

Hi, Marc. I'll be happy to assist you with this issue.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. If Windows is installing that old driver, means the manufacturer have not notified a new driver for the device. Please contact device manufacturer and ask them for a newer driver.

If you need anything else, please let me know.
