Why am I not able to use random hardware addresses on Windows 10?

Hello,

I've been trying to find the setting that turns on random hardware addresses. Before you send me a link, I've already tried this from microsoft. I've read another forum post made in 2017. However, I just simply cannot find the setting. In the specific wifi network that I'm trying, I assume that the setting would show up there. Next, when I tried turning it on for all wifi networks, it just isn't there. I've followed Microsoft's instructions to a tee. It just simply isn't there. What am I doing wrong? Just so you know, I don't have admin privileges.
Thanks in advance.

    Hi Aaron,

I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.

This setting depends on the Wi-Fi adapter to show. Some devices can show this setting on advanced device properties, to open it, right-click the network icon on the taskbar > Open Network & Internet Settings > Change adapter options > Right-click the wi-fi adapter > Properties > Configure... > Advanced tab. The setting can show another name on the list.

If you can't see this setting there, the device does not allow the random hardware addresses.
