Computer plays a "bloop" sound whenever I press the C key

Pretty much as the title says... a couple weeks ago my computer started making this bloop sound whenever I press C. I've checked and made sure sticky keys, toggle keys, etc. are all turned off (and it's a lower pitched sound than what those tools make). It also happens if I try pressing C on the on-screen keyboard.

I've gone through the Windows settings as well as the Razer settings for the keyboard to try and figure out what could be causing it, but I've come up with nothing. Any ideas?

    Hello AndrewMunson,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version? Please check it (Win + R key, and type "winver", press Enter), and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.

Next, did you have any special operations before this exception occurs? Such as installing Windows updates, hardware changes, or the computer being physically bumped, etc. If there is, please describe it in detail, or take a screenshot, and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.

You can use the on-screen keyboard to confirm your key response. Win + R to open "Run", type "osk" and press Enter to open On-screen keyboard*.*

If possible, you can connect an external keyboard to determine whether it's your computer's keyboard hardware or an in-system setup problem.

Meanwhile, you may Perform a clean boot, this is a mode of disabling third-party services or software, which could help rule out the interference of these elements.

Disclaimer*: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.*

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by-step so that it will help you get you back on track.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
