Hello yuaA,
Yes, this could be the cause of the issue. Please try to temporarily disable or uninstall NordVPN then let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,

A few days ago, my laptop was having network issues and I thought it might be fixed the next day. It wasn’t. I decided to restart the laptop and it was the same problem. I’ve figured out the issue and it’s a missing network adapter and I’m still figuring out how to fix that. But this isn’t the only problem. Airplane mode, rotation lock and battery saver is greyed out in the menu on the right. And none of my apps will open such as Google Chrome or any other application. Only files and apps that came with the computer opens. I did all the possible things I could do to fix these problems. I put the laptop in safe mode, I tried to restore it to a previous state, I put in commands in the command prompt application. I’ve watched every YouTube video possible on these problems and none of them seem to help. I genuinely think there is something wrong with my laptop and I don’t want to get rid of it. I’d appreciate the help.

Alright. Before I put in the commands, I have a quick question. Speaking of any 3rd party services, does NordVPN count? I think that might be my main problem with this entire ordeal.
Hello yuaA,
Thank you for updating me with that information. I apologize that this did not resolve the issue.
**Reinstall built-in apps via PowerShell
Windows key+X then select Windows PowerShell (Admin)
Copy and paste the command below then press Enter. Please ignore the red errors and let the process complete.
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Restart your computer
If the issue still persists, Please try performing an In-place Upgrade. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.
**Few things to check on the PC
Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting
Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade
Download the media creation tool(Click Download tool now) and save it to your computer.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...
Open the tool and select Upgrade this PC now.
Make sure to select Keep personal files and apps.
It might take some time to install Windows 10. Your computer will restart a few times, Make sure you don’t turn off your PC
Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

Hi. The last day it worked was the 29 of November. I just finished restoring it to an earlier date (Friday, November 25, 2022). And I think it might have been a command I put in the command prompt and my apps still aren’t opening and it’s the same problems as before such as the network issues and the greyed out options in the menu on the right. It’s like i never restored it at all. I also got a pop-up saying “Cortana will not open” and had the option to copy to clipboard. Is there a command I can put in or something else I can do?
