Should I continue with Webroot Security or Win Defender?

I have Win 10. It comes with Win Defender Security which I'm not using. But I'm paying Webroot Security $49 a year to protect the desktop computer.

Should I let the Webroot elapse and go with Win Defender?

    Hi Lianna,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Windows Security is a full security Suite that is on a par with all the paid for 3rd party Anti-virus suites, it is highly rated.

Windows Security has many components like Defender, Ransomware Protection, Memory Integrity, Core Isolation...etc. and its Virus Definitions are updated regularly like all the 3rd party anti-virus suites to include any newly found malware on the web.

Defender is tightly integrated with Windows, it is free and will not slow down your PC like many of the 3d party anti-virus suites.

Really, it is a personal choice, which you decide to use, but in my opinion, Windows Security is as good as Webroot and will keep you safe.

Here's a screenshot of security software on my desktop computer. Am I protected against viruses? Is there anything else I SHOULD do?
