The 2.4G wireless Mouse on my windows 10 laptop stopped connecting. I tried changing the battery and switching to a different USB port with no luck.

I suspect 2.4 receiver chip or installed driver.

Hi, I’m Nicole, I’ll be happy to help you out today.

Mostly when this happens, the cause of the issue is the USB receiver.

The first thing you can do is test the USB receiver to a different computer to verify.

Try also to unplug the USB receiver and slowly plug it back and check if you can hear a tone when you plug it in. If you hear a tone, it means Windows is still recognizing the USB receiver. If not, it means the receiver might be faulty.

Report back the results here afterward.

    Thank you.
