They don't appear under output options.
My bluetooth wireless earphones pair but do not function on my laptop. Some help?
Xiaomi Mi true wireless earphones air pro pair with my laptop but they do not function. Their device category is not recognised, it is paired as an unknown device and it does not appear as an audio device in sound settings consequently and cannot be chosen and used for sound output and input as such. I've already tried basic things like pairing, unpairing, made my laptop a discoverable device for bluetooth and updated bluetooth and sound drivers. I use windows 10 and my Laptop is Dell Inspiron 14 5410 2-in-1. The earphones are brand new and work perfectly with mobile. The laptop as well is 1,5 year old and works without any problems. Any ideas???

2023-01-28T03:06:06+00:00 Hi,
Bluetooth paired devices show up under bluetooth. So that is fine.
As it is showing up that means it is paired correctly. Did you click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and change the output to the Mi Air 2 pro?

Try to see if there was an automatic update that was applied to Bluetooth drivers that you can roll back.
-Win + R to open run box
-Type: devmgmt.msc <Enter>
-Look for "Bluetooth"
-Right-click the driver > click Properties
-Go to Driver tab
-Click "Roll back drivers" (if clickable)
If "Roll back drivers" is not clickable, click on "Uninstall device" instead and then restart the computer.
If that still does not work, visit your laptop manufacturer's site, download the BT driver and reinstall it. Then reboot the computer.
Hope that helps.
Best Regards,
