Need OpenGL 2.0 or higher!

I've don't know if I just need to upgrade my computer. I've checked my PC is just running a GDI Generic on Windows 10 Pro running OpenGL 1.0.

Is it possible just to download and upgrade my OpenGL to 2.0?

Or do I need to just upgrade

Many thanks

    Hi, Karl.

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

This error occurs because the video driver is not correctly installed or it is not identifying the graphics card.

You can check by accessing the start menu, right-clicking on it, and selecting Device Manager.

A list will open with your computer drivers, then look for video adapters in the list, click + if you have written Microsoft Basic Video Adapter.

Your video driver has not been installed if you don't tell me your PC model so I can try to help you.

    Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, this is a hardware issue. Unfortunately, your video driver does not support OpenGL 2.0.

If you need help you can always look for the microsoft community or support.

    Thanks for the info.

As I informed the video driver is not installed, you need to inform me the hardware ID:

    1. Go to device manager in the video adapters tab
    2. Right-click Microsoft basic video adapter, select properties.
    3. A window will open, go to the details tab, select Hardware ID in the selection box
    4. Copy the information or print it and post it here
