Windows 11 Update Failed Error Code 0x80070652

Hello,

I am currently using Windows 10 21H1 and am trying to update to Windows 11. My laptop is compatible as said by Windows Update, PC Health Check, and Windows 11 Installation Assistant. I have tried to install through both Windows Update, and the install assistant but both have always failed with the error code 0x80070652. Beyond running automatic troubleshooters which do not find the issue, the only other solution I have been able to find is to update drivers for my device, however all of my device drivers are up to date. What can I do to get my system updated to Windows 11?

    Hi FreakyFast Deli,

My name is Cindy. I am sorry you are having this problem. I know it is really frustrating. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

It is my understanding you would like to upgrade to Windows 11. I notice you are currently running Windows 10 21H1. Your computer needs additional Windows 10 updates for it can be upgraded to Windows 11. Once the updates have been completed, you should be able to upgrade to Windows 11.

Please type the word update in the search on the taskbar. Open the update page. Then complete all of the updates and all of the updates in the additional or advanced options. This is on the same page as the updates.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Sincerely,

    Cindy
