CHASE / ZELLE -I now with a new recipient I get a popup from "chase on line" IN MY LAPTOP windows 10, when sending money by Zelle, that says "Confirm your Identity - Let’s make sure it’s you” “For your security we’ll text a one time code to your mobile. Use this code to confirm your identity.” How can I solve this issue "verify your identity"? 2023 JAN 30

Hi, I’m Nicole, I’ll be happy to help you out today.

This message is likely part of Chase's multi-factor authentication process, which is designed to provide an extra layer of security when accessing your account. The message is asking you to confirm your identity by entering a one-time code that they will send to your mobile phone. This helps to ensure that the person accessing the account is indeed the account holder and not someone who has obtained your login credentials through phishing or other means. It's a good security practice to confirm your identity in this way to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

You may need to verify this issue via Chase Zelle support. You can use this link.

It is important to verify this first before sending any security code for your safety

    Thank you.

    THANKS a lot

    Nicole,

In my case I can log in in my account, In the page I have been able sending zelle money to my recipients without getting "Confirm your Identity - Let’s make sure it’s you” “For your security we’ll text a one time code to your mobile. Use this code to confirm your identity.” but the first sending zelle to each new recipient.

Some days ago, I registered a new recipient, as a test I send FIRST TIME $ 1.00 NO confirm identity needed. After that, the second Zelle to this new recipient, and all other Zelle sendings to the new recipient, asks the identity confirmation.

As a test I sent test $1.00 to another recipient, and this old one, went on ok whitout asking indentity confirmation.

FORGIVE me, as I'm not fluent in English but CASTELLANO

    THANKS.
