What is the plan to do with this forum? You guys just disabled opening new posts to MS Social Forum, and here;

  • There is no product related category. Everything is in one place. Impossible to use. I need Intune forum here.
  • Where all my 12 years experience earned points gone? See my profile in MS Forum. Here I am a noobie.
  • WHat a hell is Tags? :o

I really hope you will improve this experience and FAST. I have critical issue with Intune and I have to go to Facebook and ask it now.

@Pavel yannara Mirochnitchenko Find answers to your technical questions about selected Windows products. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products/windows - Supported on Q&A

    Q. What are tags?

    A. Tags are topics related to your post that help group and organize all the content on Microsoft Q&A. You can add tags to any kind of post by searching from a wide range of topics at the bottom of a post that you are creating.

    Q. Do I have to add tags to a new question?

    A. Yes, the more tags you add the more information the community receives, making it easier to find similar questions and answer them.

    Q. What happens to the ongoing conversations in MSDN and TechNet forums that are closed to all new and existing posts?

    A. You will still be able to view the forums, you just won’t be able to ask new questions or create new responses.

    Q. Will the content from MSDN and TechNet forums be migrated into Microsoft Q&A?

    A. No. When a user searches for something that doesn’t appear when they’re browsing in Microsoft Q&A, we’ll use machine learning to display read-only questions and answers from MSDN and TechNet forums.

    Q. Will I lose my MSDN and TechNet reputations?

    A. Currently you can’t carry over your MSDN and TechNet reputation. We are working to give you the opportunity to link Microsoft Q&A and MSDN and TechNet forums. When this is an option, your current badges and points from MSDN and TechNet forums will be displayed as part of your Microsoft Q&A profile.

    Q. Can I keep the same user profile I have on MSDN and TechNet forums?

    A. To use Microsoft Q&A you’ll need to make a new profile (though you can keep your MSDN or TechNet identity). The new user profile you will create for Microsoft Q&A will be linked to Microsoft Learn and Learn—so if you already have an account for those sites, you can use the same one on Microsoft Q&A.

Currently you can't carry over your MSDN and TechNet reputation. However, in the future we'll give you the opportunity to link Microsoft Q&A and MSDN and TechNet forums. When this is an option, your current badges and points from MSDN and TechNet forums will be displayed as part of your Microsoft Q&A profile.

I just saw new SCCM tags being released here. Just want to tell you guys, it will be a total mess with this new approach using tags :D ... I bet folks will be confused with all sub nodes and cross posting stuff in wrong technologies.

These tags are just not clear enough!

Thanks for answering. The awsome idea in MS Social Forum was, that every product was in its own category/folder/hiacy. It is good that users can't add tags, but still it is not enough. Forum requires product/solution/platform releated hiarcy! Now everything is in one place and all you can do is set tags :D

    Hi,

You can submit feedback about the Microsoft Q&A forums over here:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/content/idea/post.html

Many forums are still being migrated to Q&A, but the Intune forums have already been migrated and can be found here:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products/mem

Tags are administrated by system admins, forums users cannot add or edit tags here. Tags are a good way to filter questions for either a specific or multiple topics, it may also help users search for questions by filtering tags.

As far as I know there's no plan on migrating the points/experience from the old TechNet forums.

    Best regards,
    Leon

There are no product categories the way we had in MSDN forums. Instead we have tags here, almost similar to Stackoverflow site.

I had raised the feedback on migrating MSDN points to this site and they have plans to link existing MSDN and this account
