Why there is no solution to connect my HP P1102 printer on W10 Pro 22H2?

It is really for crying. I tried all "solutions" offered by the internet, with no result. Everything was working before I upgraded to 22H2. Installing the HP P1102 printer on a W7 computer takes only 1 minute. So many people suffer from this and still no solution. PS: a Samsung printer installed very well on W10. We are in 2022! Is there any solution which I can try beside all I tried before? Thanks.

Hi All! Here is the correct solution, open the link, scroll down to ShlomiL's message and do the steps. It worked perfectly for me: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/Error-printer-P1102/m-p/7341077

Thanks Reza. I think I have seen last few day all feedbacks from Micorsoft and HP. After trying installing the driver I got the error "Driver failed to install". I don't want to be busy with HP because it is a W10 22H2 problem! Here is some more info why I made that conclusion.
I have connected the printer to a Win7 computer in my network. The installation on W7 goes perfect. The most funny is that when I install the (remote) printer on my W10 22H2 computer everything went okay. I can print from my W10 computers on the HP P1102 printer remotely on the W7 computer. If I look in the drivers folder c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3\ on both computers (W7 and W10) I see the same drivers as when I install the printer local on W10. What is the difference? Where is the missing link?

I downloaded the driver from HP again and ran the compatibility trouble shooter. It opens up with the warning

Settings applied to hp_LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution-v20180815-50157037_1:- Windows Compatibilty mode: Windows 7.

As well the compatibility trouble shooter Test program as the installation in W7 compatibilty mode failed. Both processes were never ending and I had to end them manually.

HP suggests to install the driver for W10 with their HP Smart app, but HP don't have a W10 driver for this P1102 printer. Via a notification on their website they also warn:

HP printer with USB cannot print after Windows 10 update KB5014666
After updating Windows 10 with the June 28, 2022 release KB5014666, some USB-connected printers that were not set up with an HP driver can no longer print. A Driver is unavailable or Error printing message might display.

On the same webpage HP suggests to do some tasks to see if the issue is resolved. I followed them and (of course) no result for me.

I think HP will not invest in a proper W10 driver. It is better that HP-users invest in them by buying a new printer. Very climate friendly! So I stop wasting time in HP and keep on printing via a W7 computer. Thank you so much for helping me come to this conclusion.

PS1: I checked the Feedback Hub app, but I don't like it. This channel https://answers.microsoft.com/ works much better for me and is more user friendly. Sorry :-)

Try run the driver in compatibility issue, have a look at Make older apps or programs compatible with Windows 10 - Microsoft Support. See if you are able to install it.

Make sure report this issue using the Feedback Hub app.

Have you checked with the HP support?

Try open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.

Are you seeing any error message?
