My new hp pavilion laptop won't complete first set up. Screen goes blue after Microsoft Office 365 page. Any ideas anyone

    Hi Steven,

    My name is Cindy. I am sorry you are having this problem. I know it is really frustrating. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

    Perhaps a factory reset will fix the problem. Please turn the computer completely off. Turn the computer back on and hit the escape button several times. You would see a startup menu. Please click on F11 check to see if this will give you a factory reset. Choose to set it back the factory. This should take some. It could take 90 minutes or longer. Please let me know if this works.

    If you do not see this function on F11 please check the other keys as different computers may use a different button.

    Since it is new, you should be able to exchange it.

    I can give you instructions on how to reinstall Windows.
