Ok so recently my fingerprint scanner wasn't working so I wanted to stop the windows biometric service and start it again but it said "Stopping" and did not let me click any options to start or stop it.

Ok I found a answer to my own question. I used this page to terminate the service forcefully: How to force kill a service on Windows – TecAdmin. I started it back up again and it worked! I tried to login with my fingerprint reader and it worked!
I am still working on the problem but just found a relevant issue: When I went into kids mode for my child and he was done, it prompted me to enter my credentials in a windows security tab, so I did and it just froze. I tried to enter wrong login credentials and even just click "Cancel," both times it froze.
Hi Anthgodz,
Thank you for that information.
Please click Start Menu and type Sign in option and hit enter.
Under Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello), what can you see? Are you getting a message saying This option is currently unavailable?
If yes, please check if you are signed in to Work or School account that might having a conflict with the Windows Hello.
Click Start menu and type Access Work or School and hit enter. Disconnect the account that you will see, then check if the issue still persists.
If the issue still persists, please uninstall the driver from the Device manager and manually install it from this link:
Look for Fingerprint Driver

Whenever I restart everything works. But it is kind of annoying whenever I get an error that I restart my entire computer so I wanted to find a better solution.
