I simply want to remove parental controls from my account. I have been on a chat for an hour with no success. Please tell me how to accomplish this. I have "clicked the three dots" as asked. I have clicked on "manage consent" as asked. it is a circle of events. Most recently I was blocked from a job search at a local tech school. How is this "restricted"? Please help

    Hi Andrew Goeldner,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

May I ask whether you are currently using a child account or a parent account?

If your account is a child account, you will need to log in to the family group using your parent account to remove the control Settings.

If your account is a parent account, after logging in to the Family Group page refer to the picture below click on the option, after clicking on a "remove" option, see if you do so to lift the restrictions.

Also, if you've done something else yourself or tried the methods I've provided that don't work, it's a good idea to post a screenshot in the thread (please mask your privacy information) so we can see what else we can try.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
