Hi Silver,
I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.
No. WSA is limited to Windows 11 only. You can't install it on Windows 10. This is by design.

Can I run WSA on a powerful Windows 10 laptop?
16g RAM
512gb SDD
i7 processor
BUT it is a 7k version clock speed and wont let me upgrade to Win 11, which i would have done,
thank you.

Actually, yes, you can. The thing to keep in mind though, is that the versions of WSA that can run on Windows 10 are modified by people and not officially supported by Microsoft, so in case of any issues you can't rely on Microsoft helping you, but rather the author of such WSA mod. I'm running WSA on my Windows 10 Pro 22H2 machine right now, and the only problems are: mostly broken rendering of webpages for Android tablet version of Chrome, apps freezing up and not responding when trying to close them before actually closing down, high resource usage due to an quite very old PC and WSA settings window not having a draggable title bar. If you are willing to put up with all this and possible other issues though, you can successfully run WSA on Windows 10, just not the official version. I believe that this kind of information is important to deliver to users seeking answers to questions such as this one, while making them aware of potential issues and risks they take upon themselves by using those methods.
yes you can
Actually I have seen a number of posts of where people have done this and was looking for a solid install process. I also heard that it is going to be available to beta users too, has anyone else heard this?
thanks
Hi,
That was only for Windows 11 Beta. The manual install using appx file would not work too I believe, as the minimum build required is Build 22000.
