I want to delete my activation because it was activated illegally, so I want to use the free one

I tried these ways but it didn't delete it:

  1. Open a command prompt as an Administrator.
  2. Enter slmgr /upk
  3. Enter slmgr /cpky
  4. Enter slmgr /rearm

I have pc so I don't know if the product key is still saved in the motherboard

Your activity is not illegal, you are technically the victim here if the shop sold you Pro that was cracked. You are trying to do the right thing. I've show you how to do that by several methods.

I've handled many of these cases. Most are upgraded by a shop or friend to Pro even though there's a Home license. Some even say they're sure they don't have a Home License but when they reinstall Home it activates with embedded OEM or a Digital License. So I'd wait to see for sure.

Do you need Pro? If not then I'd do the gold standard Clean install for Home, see if it activates. It's a great learning experience, because you'll learn everything that works best in Windows and how to apply it with your own hands. If it doesn't activate you can buy a key when you can afford it. Make sure to buy from a major retailer you know will back all sales, or from Microsoft directly here:

Deeply discounted keys are almost always bogus and will not last. There are no deep discounts in retail Windows 10.

That screenshot says you have Pro activated with a Digital License. What makes you think an illegal activation ploy was used?

If you don't have a genuine way to activate such as those I mentioned earlier, then if you have any retail copy of Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 you could use it for free Upgrade by inserting the key. If not you can purchase a Digital License from Microsoft Store app(so you know for sure it's genuine) or buy a key from a major retailer that backs all sales. Don't buy heavily discounted keys because there are no deep discounts for retail Windows software, these are almost always bogus.

It's a lot cheaper to buy Home edition which is all most consumers need, since Pro costs a lot more for a few extra features most don't need. If you want to reinstall then besides the Clean Install I gave you before there is this downgrade which often works: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/downgrade-windows...

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on your replym, I will have other suggestions if necessary.

Hi Mohamed. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

It depends on what activation ploy was used. The most frequent one is using a Volume License key that expires because it can't connect to the company's activation server, but that's only used in Enterprise or Pro version. Do you need to reinstall Home first to use the legal license you had?

How was that legal license obtained? Did it come preinstalled from factory which is embedded in the UEFI chip on the motherboard, or was it a legal retail copy of Windows and do you still have that key. It it was upgraded from a previous Edition of Windows then it will have a Digital LIcense tied to the hardware, you only need to reinstall the licensed version and afterwards it should reactivate when it connects to the internet.

In about 50% of cases with activation ploys you can remove the illegal key using slmgr - upk command, but the problem is that the other half have more than that loaded so it really requires wiping the drive to clean install.

You can try removing the key first and then activating as I wrote above, or will guide you further to do.

Then if that fails you can follow this guide to do a gold standard Clean Install which will not only wipe the activation ploy but also give you the kind of install that is built to last, and teach you everything that works best in Windows at the same time: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Based on the answers you post back I may have other suggestions.
