Today I opened up my laptop for the first time in a few days. (Three or four to be exact.) There is no apparent damage except for giant black blob on my screen. At the bas, which is at the bottom of the screen is a black circle, then it kinda branches out and goes halfway up my screen. At first i thought it happened because of a crack, but after further investigation, there is no crack. I'm very confused and scared.

If you're seeing these black blobs even right before the computer starts or windows boot up, then that has to do with the monitor already, Sam. You can do a further test by plugging in a different monitor on the same computer you're using. Or you can plug this possibly damaged monitor into a different computer, if you still see the blob then that would ultimately mean the monitor has been damaged.

    Best Regards,

    Hello Sam

May I ask for a screenshot of how that Black spot looks like? Does it still appear even when you do other things like watch videos on your screen?

i cannot take a screenshot of it, it works much like a crack on the screen. You cannot screenshot it.
