Windows 10 Crash Event ID 1010

When I am using my laptop unplugged, it will randomly turn black and become unresponsive. From there I have to hold the power button and force a shutdown. When I get the laptop running again, I see in Event Viewer that an error with the ID 1010 gets pinged multiple times (usually between 6 and 30ish), attached is an image of that message as I am suspicious that this is the culprit. I am using a Lenovo Yoga c940, 14in version. My version of windows 10 is 21H2. Please let me know if additional spec info is needed or if my suspicions are incorrect.

Hello Itz_Jay, Did the reinstall fix your issue? I have a very similar if not exact issue. Freezes happen frequently.

Paul, If I do a repair Install will that change any of my settings, preferences or data? In other words, is there any harm or is it only upside potential?

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    HI,

Sorry if it still didn't help.

I will now recommend that you try to repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade to fix the system.

You can follow the guide from the link below.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

    HI,

    Sorry for the late response.

There are several "Netwtw10 cannot be found" errors in the event logs. This file is related to the Intel WIFI driver

I recommend you update the Intel Wifi driver to the latest version if it's available. If not, just try to uninstall and reinstall it.

I will also recommend that you do the same with the Graphics card driver.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

    Hi Itz,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Can you share the System Event logs so that I can additional details regarding the issue?

    >> Open Event Viewer.

    >> Click Windows Logs.

    >> Right-click System

    >> click "Save all events as"

    >> Select location, name the file, and click Save.

    >> select "Display Information for these languages ", click English and click OK.

    >> Upload the saved log file to OneDrive and share the link here.

    Thanks.
