The sign in button in microsoft store not working

Hi,

The sign in button in the microsoft store doesn't work. When i press it nothing happens, i've tried a lot of things like copy and pasting in commands, reseting the microsoft store but nothing worked.

Can somebody help me?

    I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I'll do my best to help you. Looks like you're unable to sign in to MS Store as the sign in button is not working.

    Have you tried to install available update already?

    When was the last time that you're able to use it?

    Please try the steps below:

    1. Please try to run the sfc scannow to check if there's a corrupted system file. Kindly follow the steps from the link below:

    Please click start menu and type cmd, right click on it and choose CMD with Admin.

    Type sfc /scannow and hit enter. NOTE: There's a space between c and /

    1. Repair Windows Store

    Click Start Menu and type Powershell, right click on it and select Powershell(admin), copy and paste the command below:

    Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Then hit Enter, once the process is finished, restart the PC and check if the issue persists.

    1. If the issue persists, you may perform in place upgrade:

    For Windows 11

    In place upgrade will install the new features or updates of Windows it will also fix corrupted system files. Kindly check the steps below:

    Please go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    Look for Download Windows 11 Disk Image and select Windows 11 (multi-edition ISO)

    • Once you're able to download the ISO, please right click and open it
    • Please look setup.exe and run it
    • Select yes if you will will be asked for User Control
    • Choose Next to Continue
    • Please read the License Agreement and once done, hit Accept
    • Please wait until the setup program is done and it will check if your device space is enough for the update
    • You will see the Ready to install page, please MAKE SURE that Keep personal files and apps has been checked.
    • Lastly, click INSTALL and follow the prompt.
    • It will restart your device several times, please wait for it to finish.

    For Windows 10

    Please go to:

    Note: Please disable 3rd party anti virus

    Under Create Windows 10 Installation Media

    Click Download Tool Now

    Click on Run

    Allow the User account Control

    Read the License Terms and hit Accept if you agree

    Choose Upgrade this PC now and hit Next

    Please make sure that it shows keep files and apps and hit Next

    This may take sometime depends on your connection or the performance of your device.
