How to use my headphone as a speaker and a mic in windows 11

So I got a new 3.5mm Jack headphone with a mic and want to connect to my windows 11 while connecting it asks me for which type of device it is

Options are

  1. Line In
  2. Mic In
  3. Headphone
  4. Speaker Out

I have tried every one of them still my headphones either acts as a mic or a speaker but I want to use for both ways

pls help

    Thanks for the clarification.

    From the motherboard specs, it only has separate P2 connectors for the headphone and the microphone. There are also separate connectors on the front panel of the case, correct?

    Therefore, you will need to use a P3 Female to P2 Male adapter to use this headset on your computer.

    With this adapter, the signal will be separated into two P2 connectors. One for the headphone and one for the microphone.

    Yes I have 2 places to plug my headset

    So what do I have to do about this problem do I have to buy any sort of accessory or something like that or do I have to change something within my desktop

    From the options that are displayed, either your computer does not have the connector for using a headset (Headphone with microphone), or the driver installed is wrong.

    Does your headset have 2 jack connectors P2 (two black or white lines) or a single jack connector P3 (three black or white lines)?

    Also, what is the manufacturer and model of your computer?

    If you prefer, you can send a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.
