I saw an article about doing this but nowhere on the page does it say HOW to do it. Here's the page I'm looking at

    Hi AdrianeSuhayda,

I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.

The page explains the details of how the feature works. To copy/and paste between devices, first, your device needs to be compatible (Surface Duo and selected Samsung devices).

After painting the device on Phone Link you need to activate the option on Settings > Features > Cross-device copy and paste.

When you copy something on the phone it will appear on the PC clipboard, and when you copy something on the PC it will appear on the phone clipboard.

Thanks but that isn't working for me. I do have a compatible phone and have enabled the required settings. All the searches I've done tell me I need to install the Windows keyboard app on my phone and use that to copy/paste. I can do that if I have to but the article I posted says nothing about that. So I assumed it would just work. Hence my confusion.

    Thanks for your help!

I did try with the keyboard and it works that way. However, I really don't want to use Windows keyboard. I don't know, maybe I'm overlooking something. When I copy text in windows, where would I find it on my Samsung Galaxy S22? I checked the clipboard but nothing is there.

The text should show on the clipboard, as the first option

Did you install the Microsoft Keyboard to test? It should work without this keyboard since Link to Windows on these devices is integrated into the system.
