Hello, can anyone help me resolve my problem with joining my friend's games? For about 3 months now me and my friend have been playing Minecraft with no issues. I'm on pc Windows 10 and she is playing on Nintendo switch. This problem did not occur until about the first of the year. All it will do is try to load in the game for about 3 minuets then say I am unable to join and vice versa. Half of the time I have to type in her gamertag to even see her pop up on my friends list to invite her. Even after inviting her if the invite will even send, she still can't join. Any tips to fix this issue.

    Hello.

First, please try re-adding your friends. When other players invite you, there will normally be pop-ups both on Xbox App and Minecraft. You should be able to find their worlds in the "Friends" tab below your realms.

You may also need to make sure your Xbox Live privacy settings are correct. Sign in to https://account.xbox.com/Settings with your Microsoft Account and allow "You can play with people outside of Xbox Live", "You can join multiplayer games" and "You can add friends".

"Loading the game for three minutes" might also mean you are encountering network issues while trying to communicate with Minecraft servers. Check your internet connections, and do the following to check your Windows Firewall settings:

    1. Type in Control Panel in the Start Menu and press enter.
    2. Head to System and Security>Windows Defender Firewall>Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall. Make sure you checked Minecraft for Windows 10, javaw, and Java(TM) Platform SE binary are all checked based on your Internet settings. (Check both if not sure)

    Best Regards

No error codes just the text that says you are unable to join this game. The same message pops up when she tries to join me as well.
