Software download for my singer sewing machine and windows 11 won’t let me

I just bought a HP laptop with windows 11 and my Singer embroidery machine needs a software update. I download to my laptop and when I agree to the terms of the software it won’t let me agree to it.so I can’t run it on my laptop to download to a USB to download to my sewing machine.

    Hello Kelly, this is Emily.

    This looks to be an incompatible issue. I took a quick look on the Singer software page for their OS requirement, none of them seems to support Windows 11 as of now. You can take a look and see if one of these is the software you are trying to download? https://futura-support.com/node/all/software

    I think it is best to reach out to Singer support to confirm the compability of their software with Windows 11 platform. After all, this is a 3rd party software and we don't have the expertise or knowledge needed to troubleshoot their product. Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi Kelly, this is a very product specific question. I wouldn't be able to tell you if you should download it to the computer or to the machine. That's something you want to confirm with Singer support. However, if anything is corrupted in the USB (is it a flash drive you referred to here?), it usually means the flash drive itself is faulty or the content downloaded to the flash drive is already corrupted and normally you can download again

    But I still think it is important to make sure you are installing it correctly to begin with and make sure it is compatitble with Windows 11, because it doesn't appear so from their official website.

    So this might sound dumb as I don’t have a lot of experience with computers. So when you download PSW software do you then download it to your embroidery machine I had a friend download the software to my laptop and we downloaded the patterns on the USB and then put into the machine and it says it is corrupted and didn’t read properly. So that’s why I am asking if it ends to be download to embroidery machine Thanks kelly
