Yes, startup repair just sends me back to the troubleshoot screen. All bootrec commands work besides the /fixboot. Safe mode gives me a bluescreen. System restore shows no points to restore even tho I made a backup a week before I had these issues. Uninstalling updates doesn't work because it says there's nothing to install. And scannow says it can't proform the action.
Can I fix 0xc00021a without needing a fresh install or reset?
So it's been about a month of going back and forth with different support teams but I still can't seem to fix anything, it started after my mouse froze on my screen so I restarted my computer via the box and when I turned it back on I got a blue screen with the stop code "0xc00021a" I have to many things on my computer so I can't use a portable hard drive to move everything unless I buy like 5 of them and I cant lose any of my files or apps (the softwares I use only give me a 1 time key that I've already redeemed after I reset my pc last year)
Here's a list of things I have tried:
- Tried sfc /scannow (stops at 100% and says windows Resource could not proform the requested operation) (same thing happens for other type of sfc command)
- Tried chkdsk (said it couldn't preform the action)
- Uninstalling the latest updates (it said there was none to uninstall)
- Booting in safemode (I get a bluescreen)
- Disable signature (get bluescreen)
- Got a usb with the installation media (can't get it to boot with it without a bluescreen so thats just a huge loop)
- Tried auto repair (get bluescreen and instant put on blue troubleshoot screen)
- Opened note pad using the command prompt to see my files (all files weren't showing but the storage said they were there)
- Tried to disable the windows anti-virus (got bluescreen)
- Tried bootrec /fixboot (tells me access denied)
I know that the pc has to be missing some important window files because of the stopcode so is there anything I can do to repair them using a usb? Or am I just screwed??

2023-02-25T08:33:11+00:00 - Test the disk drive using Sea Tools bootable:
Run the long generic test > take pictures > post images or share links into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.
https://www.seagate.com/manuals/software/seatools-bootable/
If the disk drive fails the long generic test then replace the disk drive.
If the disk drive passes the long generic test then continue with the additional steps.
- Boot to the BIOS > open the menu for
Legacy
UEFI hybrid (UEFI with CSM)
UEFI native (UEFI without CSM)
Take pictures > post images or share links into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.
Error code 0xc00021a = error in the Abios subsystem
Error code 0xc000021a = status system process terminated {fatal system error}
Please post an image of the error message and / or code.
The most efficient method to fix the problems are a custom install.
A custom install will install a fresh version of Windows and save files to Windows.old.
If the custom install fails then backup files to another disk drive and perform a clean install.
The above methods each require the reinstallation of drivers and applications.
If a custom install is performed, important files are restored from Windows.old
If you're interested in performing a custom install links can be posted into this thread.

2023-02-24T20:51:04+00:00 Hi JimboTheFarmer,
I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.
Kindly try the following methods to fix the issue (Skip a step that you have already tried):
1-Force the computer to shut down 2 times until you get windows Troubleshooting > Advanced Options:
A-Startup repair.
B-If you have a system restore point, perform a system restore.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/rec...
C-If you installed any updates recently, uninstall it
D-Click on Command Prompt > Type this command and hit enter:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:
sfc /scannow
Also try boot repair commands:
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:
chkdsk /r
E-If you have enabled fast boot in UEFI Firmware, disable it:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/21284-enabl...
F-Reset this PC > Keep my files.
2-If it did not help, start your computer in Safe Mode:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...
if you could log in with Safe Mode, open CMD as administrator > Type these commands and hit enter:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:
sfc /scannow
Then, restart your computer and check to see if the issue has been fixed or not.
3-If it did not help, create a bootable USB of Windows 10 and boot your computer with the USB:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cre...
On the installation window, click on repair and try the options provided in step 1.
After that, check if it fixed the issue or not.
4-More troubleshooting steps from the link below:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
5-If the issue is still unfixed, perform a clean install:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
Be noted that you have to install the same Windows edition that was running on your computer in order not to face Windows activate issues.
If you have important data, try to rescue them:
