I was once in german and had a german keyboard layout in windows 11. Recently, I tried to remove it. Try lots of effort, I can only "temporally" remove it.

Once reboot, it appears again occasionally! What the hell is it, a virus?

Hello Daxin,

Thank you for updating me with that information. Please try the following methods below.

  1. Please try removing the unwanted keyboard using your method.

Once done, proceed to the procedures below

  1. Open a Microsoft Office program such as Excel or Word

Click File > Options then select Language

Choose Editing Languages, please check if you see the unwanted keyboard. Remove it.

Restart your computer

If does not work, proceed with the method below

  1. Press Start then search Control Panel

Click Region > Administrative tab > Copy settings

Make sure English (United States) is set to all categories under Current User.

On the bottom, Check both options "Welcome screen and system accounts" and "New user accounts"

Click OK

Restart your computer

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

Kind regards,

John DeV
