When I disable VRR fps does not rise above 165.

Hello. I disabled the Variable Reflesh Rate function in the windows graphics settings and now my fps does not rise above 165. My screen is 165 hz. Should it be like this?

Yes, this behavior is expected because your monitor's refresh rate is 165 Hz, so even if your graphics card is capable of producing more than 165 frames per second (fps), your monitor won't be able to display them.

When you enable VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), your monitor's refresh rate adapts to match the output of your graphics card, so it can display as many frames as your graphics card can produce. But when you disable VRR, your monitor's refresh rate is fixed at 165 Hz, which means it can only display up to 165 frames per second.

So, in your case, if you disable VRR and your graphics card is capable of producing more than 165 fps, the extra frames will not be displayed on your monitor.
