How to get icloud sync with windows please?

I have a Microsoft surface pro 9 with Windows 11 (brand-new).

My iCloud folders do not sync despite having the iCloud app etc installed. The iCloud folder still looks the same as what they were about a month ago (Despite many updates). I have done simple troubleshooting that I could find on the web but nothing seems to work. I would be grateful for any advice. Also has Microsoft/ windows not have customer service support that we can ring like Apple? Many thanks

Hello, I'm Felipe and I'm an independent Community Advisor, and I'll do my best to help you.

To sync your iCloud folders with your Windows 11 PC, you can follow these steps:

Ensure that you have the latest version of iCloud for Windows installed on your PC. You can download it from the Microsoft Store or from Apple's website.

Open the iCloud app on your PC and sign in using your Apple ID and password.

Check the box next to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks" and any other features that you want to sync with your PC.

Click the "Apply" button to save your changes.

Wait for iCloud to finish syncing your data. This may take some time depending on the amount of data you have.

If your iCloud folders are still not syncing after following these steps, you can try the following additional troubleshooting steps:

Make sure that your Surface Pro 9 is connected to the internet.

Restart your PC and try again.

Disable any antivirus or firewall software temporarily to see if it is blocking iCloud from syncing.

Uninstall and reinstall the iCloud app.

If none of these steps work, you can contact Microsoft Support for further assistance. Microsoft does have customer service support that you can contact via phone, chat, or email. You can find more information on how to contact Microsoft Support on their website.

Maybe this is not a feature from Windows 11 and it's impossible to sync with an Apple application. To have a better troubleshooting step, it's better to get in touch with Windows Support, they might have a solution for that. I tried to find other topics and forums, and I was not able to see more details about them. This is the last thing that i found: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-...

Thank you for your feedback. I have tried every single one of those steps already, unfortunately....
