Hi, thank you so much for getting back to me, unfortunately none of these methods worked. If you have any other methods for me please let me know. Also a side note I would like to say that some of the command prompts you gave me answered with ‘access denied’. I’m not very smart with computing so could you let me know if that’s supposed to be normal or not? Thank you so much!
My PC has a problem, what do I do?
Hi, I’m running a windows 10 PC however when I’m trying to log in it’s saying my pc has ran into a problem and needs to restart. Below that it says Stop code: BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO .
It then try’s to automatically repair however that fails, I have tried every other option but nothing has worked, when I try to reset my PC it says there has been an error and your PC couldn’t reset, when I tried to reset it from the previous update, somthing ‘interrupts’ it and the process fails.
What do I do now?

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.
Kindly disconnect all unnecessary devices that are attahced to your computer, then, try the following methods to fix the issue (skip a step that you have already tried):
1-Force the computer to shut down 2 times until you get windows Troubleshooting > Advanced Options:
A-Startup repair.
B-If you have a system restore point, perform a system restore.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/rec...
C-If you installed any updates recently, uninstall it
D-Click on Command Prompt > Type this command and hit enter:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:
sfc /scannow
Also try boot repair commands:
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:
chkdsk /r
E-If you have enabled fast boot in UEFI Firmware, disable it:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/21284-enabl...
F-Reset this PC > Keep my files.
2-If it did not help, start your computer in Safe Mode:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...
if you could log in with Safe Mode, open CMD as administrator > Type these commands and hit enter:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:
sfc /scannow
Then, restart your computer and check to see if the issue has been fixed or not.
3-If it did not help, create a bootable USB of Windows 10 and boot your computer with the USB:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cre...
On the installation window, click on repair and try the options provided in step 1.
After that, check if it fixed the issue or not.
4-More troubleshooting steps from the link below:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
5-If the issue is still unfixed, perform a clean install:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
Be noted that you have to install the same Windows edition that was running on your computer in order not to face Windows activate issues.
If you have important data, try to rescue them:

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.
Stay safe

If all the troubleshooting steps did not work for you, you should perform a clean install.
Have you tried it?
