Wi-Fi No Internet, Secured on Laptop but on other devices its Fine

Recently, i have connectivity issues on my ROG Strix GL512LI. It appears out of nowhere since it worked perfectly yesterday and when you opened your laptop the wifi shows No Internet, Secured.

In the past, i also have the same issue on HP Probook (i forgot the Model) on the same Wifi Network but the difference it shows No Internet, Secured from the first time it connected to the wifi.

The fix that i accidentally found is to use Cloudflare WARP on PC while connected with No Internet, Secured status and suddenly it shows Connected just fine (i tried opening Youtube or Browsing through Google and it loads fine).

This time, on my ROG Strix GL512LI the fix that uses Cloudflare WARP isnt working.

I already tried everything on this Thread : https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/fixed-windows-10-wifi-connected-but-no-internet/82573aa3-cebb-45df-9d0d-e90d68cab40d

But still none of them fix my issue.

The strangest part is that on other devices i have (i have 1 iPhone and 2 Androids) it worked just fine with the same wifi network. Not only that, using my Phones mobile data and hotspot to my Laptop works fine too. I tried going to other places that has wifi but with different ISP and my Laptop worked fine, my other devices also worked fine.

Im also tried using Wifi Card Adapters that plugs into USB to connect to the same wifi network that shows No Internet, Secured and it still shows the same thing even with 2 different USB Wifi Card Adapter

I even tried my Old Laptop (Toshiba Portege M900) on Windows 7 and it have the same issue as HP Probook but the fix that i use on HP Probook by using Cloudflare WARP on PC it worked fine.

I even go as far as :

-Uninstalling the last Windows Update

-Using System Restore Point

-Using "Network Reset" on Settings

-Uninstalling my Windows Key (i don't know what it called, deactivating your Windows, maybe ?)

-Uninstalling all VPN apps

-Turning off wifi > restart > turning on wifi

-Turning off Fast Startup (to make sure this thing really restart)

i am going crazy with this issue, at the point where i just wanna bark to my laptop hoping it may fix this annoying issue

Hi, my name is Kelly, and I'm an independent consultant and I'm here to help.

It sounds like you've already tried a lot of troubleshooting steps to fix the Wi-Fi issue on your laptop. Since other devices are able to connect to the same Wi-Fi network without any problems, it's likely that the issue is specific to your laptop.

Here are a few more things you can try:

Update your Wi-Fi adapter driver: Go to the manufacturer's website for your Wi-Fi adapter, download the latest driver for your adapter, and install it.

Disable security software temporarily: Some antivirus or firewall software can interfere with your Wi-Fi connection. Try temporarily disabling any such software on your laptop to see if it makes a difference.

Reset your router: Unplug your router, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes fix connection issues.

Check your network settings: Make sure your laptop is set up to automatically obtain an IP address and DNS server address. You can check this in the Wi-Fi adapter settings.

Try a different Wi-Fi network: If possible, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network to see if the issue is specific to your home network.

If none of these steps work, it may be worth contacting the manufacturer of your laptop or a professional technician for further assistance.

If you believe that the issue may be related to your Windows laptop rather than the router or network infrastructure, you could try contacting a local computer repair shop or a professional IT technician to help you troubleshoot the issue. Look for reviews and recommendations online to find a reputable technician in your area.

Before you contact a technician, you can also try some additional troubleshooting steps on your own to see if you can resolve the issue. Here are a few things you can try:

Restart your laptop and router. This may help to clear any temporary issues or glitches that could be causing the problem.

Check your network adapter settings. Make sure that your network adapter is enabled and that it is set up to obtain an IP address automatically.

Update your network adapter drivers. Go to the website of your laptop manufacturer and download the latest drivers for your network adapter.

Run the Network troubleshooter. Windows includes a built-in Network troubleshooter that can help diagnose and fix network-related issues.

Reset your network settings. Open the Settings app and go to Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. This will reset all your network settings to their default values and may help to fix the problem.

If none of these steps help to resolve the issue, it may be time to contact a professional technician for further assistance.

As i'd mentioned before, I live in a small only bedroom apartment not in my own House. I may able to contact the ISP but there's no point since i can't just tell them to reset the router just for me since im the only one who's encountered this problem 3x times (I even ask my next room neighbour if they have a laptop and does their laptop able to connected to the internet they said its working fine.)

I don't think using Extender is an option since the signal is Excellent since it would take 6 steps from my room to the router. And i don't think Wi-Fi 6 certified laptop couldn't handle 1 layer of brick wall.

I think the problem isn't coming from my Laptop itself, its from Windows. To simplified what i mean't, it worked perfectly just yesterday and the next day you opened your laptop it shows No Internet, Secured.

Where i can find this professional techinician ?

    Hi Kelly, Thanks for responding!

Unfortunetly, i already tried your suggestions too before i decided that i had enough with this thing and start to ask about it here.

-Update your W-Fi adapter ? its already have the latest update, it have the same version as it was before this problem came up.

-Disable security software ? im only use Windows Security that came up with the OS, i tried disabling all thing that i could disabled in "Firewall & network protection" and " App & browser control"

-Check your network settings ? as i'd mention before on a link to a Thread, i already tried everything there. You can take a look there and it says to check for it and even make some manual changes. Here i am, still not work.

-Reset your Router ? unfortunetly, i don't have the Websetting access to the Router (Its not a stolen Wi-Fi and im sure that my laptop doesnt get blacklisted). I do have physical access just to turn it off back on but i would be a little impossible to do (I live in a small only bedroom apartment and i worried if that solution will disturb others who doesnt have problems with the wifi).

-Try a different Wi-Fi network ? i'd say its the last resort since if i don't have any choice.

    Hi RadityaG,

Are the laptop and the router on the same floor of the house or are they on different floors?

Try temporarily moving the laptop close to the router and see if it works fine there. Are you connecting to the 2.4 or 5 GHz network? Is the network name (SSID) the same for both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks, or are the SSIDs different?

Specify the exact model of your WiFi adapter, you can find it from Device Manager>network adapters.

If your laptop works fine on other WiFi networks, there's no need to take your computer to a computer service center.

Open PowerShell or CMD copy and paste the following command: ipconfig /all copy all and post the result.
