Heavy CPU utilization by Microsoft Windows Search Indexer and Antimalware service executable after Windows 11 22H2 update.

Microsoft Windows Search Indexer and Antimalware service executable have 55% CPU utilization which has increased the fan noise and reduced the battery life of my laptop. My laptop fan speed is high even on light workloads because of this. I didn't face this problem on Windows 11 22H1. I started facing this problem yesterday when I was automatically upgraded to Windows 11 22H2. I don't want to turn off search indexing because I find it useful, but I want to fix the excessive CPU usage by the aforementioned processes.

I have finally managed to solve the issue. Turns out the search indexer didn't stop even though all the items had been indexed. Manually stopping the indexing and re-enabling it fixed the problem. It shows that indexing is complete now and the indexer isn't running in the background anymore. Thank you for your help!

I managed to fix the antimalware services executable problem, but I couldn't fix the search indexer problem. I have tried the indexing troubleshooter and I have used the delete and rebuild index option. It has a CPU utilization of over 35%.
