Rockstar Games files being deleted by Onedrive

When I open Rockstar Games to play gta I get pop-ups from Onedrive saying ""Deleted files are removed everywhere" and when I check the recycling bin, I see a bunch of files from Rockstar in there. Then Rockstar Games starts to have trouble loading and signing in and stops working. This happens to some of my other games like Assetto Corsa but never happens to my steam games. How do I fix this?

    Good day! I’m Jhakesong and I'll try to help you today.

    There's a chance that these files are being uploaded by OneDrive on the cloud and being deleted locally. For instance, Assetto Corsa usually saves in the Documents/assetto corsa folder. OneDrive handles the Documents folder. He keeps files online and deletes them locally.

    You can manage how Onedrive manages its folder for backup. Here's how:

    Go to the steps for Free up space or have a file always available when offline.

    Hi MindyHwang,

    Thank you for the update. Did you restore the files from the recycle bin? If not, please do so. If the games still won't start, do reinstall them if possible.

    I followed the steps but Rockstar Games is still having trouble loading and signing in.
