Hello Said. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

Did you try the downloads here:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61K2vp8ajws

    https://mega.nz/file/VfxTxbbZ#JB-xD_fKuPNuTJvJt...

    https://deviceinbox.com/drivers/1072-corechip-s...

To be safest, right click scan the downloads with your antivirus and Malwarebyes from https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.

    Using official Microsoft Setups

So basically you need to install an "adapter" to use that USB to Ethernet cable. This tutorial consist of

    1. Downloading and preparing folder for installation from Official website for Ethernet to USB adapter
    2. Installing it and using it.

Step 1: Go to Microsoft official drivers website: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/search.aspx?q=corechip

Step 2: Download "Corechip SemiConductor Inc-....". There are two with the exactly same names. I downloaded the lower one.

    Image

Step 3: A cabinet file will be downloaded. So basically this is actually a type of a folder. [you can double click it and go in]

    Image

Step 4: Double click the file. something like this will open. Now copy all the files in this cabinet.

    Image

Step 5: Make a new folder. I named mine "Ethernet_to_USB". Paste those files there

    Image

Step 6: Open the device manager. Make sure you have inserted your Ethernet to usb cable. You will see your device with a caution mark in other devices section (in the device manager).. Mine is not there because I fixed it.

    Image

Step 7: Right click, and click "Update driver" in the pop-up menu.

    Image

Step 8: Click "Browse my computer for drivers"

    Image

Step 9: Click Browse. Select the *folder* that you created in Step 5. Mine is "Ethernet_to_USB"

    Image

    Step 10: Complete the installation

It worked for me and I hope it worked for you.

    If it did, you're welcome.

    Greetings,

Try to go to the manufacturer website, and find the driver if not found then try the following things.

Step1: Go to Start menu and search "Device Manager"

Step 2: Open the device manager, and check for any unknown device or a device with caution mark.

Step 3: Right click and go to update driver.

(In my case I am updating my graphics card )

    Now update it.

    Hope this works.

Any problem in the process then please reply.

*Remember to have an internet connection.

Can you try another browser or PC?

    Try the download here:

    https://mega.nz/file/VfxTxbbZ#JB-xD_fKuPNuTJvJt...

Choose Download > Standard Download. It should pop up in the browser Downloads, right click to Open Folder, then extract the Zip file as shown here:

    https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and...

From Device Manager find the LAN device, from Driver tab choose Update Driver, then Browse to the folder where you unzipped the file, into the 64 bit, to pick up the .sys file and load it.

If that doesn't work then contact the adapter's Manufacturer's Support to ask for help under warranty to get it installed.

If that doesn't work I'd take it back to the store and ask for an adapter that has the driver provided.

Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.
