I have a G27 and because the old LGS 510 profiling software has not been updated by Logitech in years the driver gets flagged
when using Win11 due to the extreme security MS built into Win11. Win11 is very uptight about 'out of date' drivers.
This causes the profiling software to load, but not recognise your wheel.
Some driving games may still recognise the G25\27 and buttons may work without having the profiling software running,
but you get the most from the wheels with it installed.
- If you were using the G25 with Win10, the same 64bit version of LGS 510 (v 5.10.127 - June 2014) software\driver will work on Win11,
but... only if you disable Memory Integrity in...
Settings > Privacy and Security > Device Security > Core Isolation.
Disable Memory Integrity via the on\off switch.
If the on\off switch is greyed out (probably will be) you will need to make the change in Registry...
(type - regedit - into the Run command to open Registry)
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenario\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity....
Change the value of the Enabled key from 1 to 0.
Reboot (not positive it's necessary, but I did it anyway)
- If you don't use your wheel regularly, you can switch memory integrity back on via Settings between use.
[EDIT: LGS 510 download link (same program as used by G25) Be sure to use the 64bit version... https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024699674--Downloads-G27-Racing-Wheel
- You may not need to do this, but I also disabled Smart App Control & Reputation-based Protection > Check Apps and Files in
App and Browser Control because they were blocking a lot of games (partly because I use noCD fixes for all my old disc based games) .
This was shortly after installing Win11 so I don't recall the details, but I believe this security feature does allow you to make
exceptions when it blocks something you trust.
