Nothing is working on my computer, and I don't know why.

Nothing is working on my computer, whey I try to open any app I get a window called explorer.exe that says Class Not Registered. The only thing that I can open is google chrome and other internet browsers. When I try to open the start menu using the windows button it just doesn't do anything, I also have a weird window opening every time I start my computer called DesktopWindowXamlSource. I've tried searching for how to fix this problem online but every time I find something that looks legit, it tells me to open the start menu or open settings to fix that problem which doesn't work because like I said those don't open. I don't know if this is a bug, or if I have some sort of virus or something like that. If anyone knows anything about this, or how to fix it please respond.

Hi Christian! I hope you are well. My name is, Zadee. Sorry to hear about your experience. I'll try my best to help you today.

Is this something that just happened all of sudden? If so, you may be able to reverse the changes that made your profile or OS corrupted. You can do this through WinRE. Try repairing it first and then check the system restore. But just a heads up, we may need to reinstall Windows to get you back on track.

    1. Restart your computer
    2. Once you are on the login screen press and hold SHIFT + click the RESTART button. This will bring up the WinRE.
    3. Once you are in WinRE, go to, Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair

If the repair does not work, go back to the WinRE and access the system restore.

Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore > Select the oldest restore point > Click Next > Finish

    How did that go?
