Cannot find a driver for Canon Pixma MP470 with Windows 11

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Unfortunately, the most recent driver for Canon Pixma MP470 was for Windows 8.1 but you can install the driver in compatibility mode.

> Right-click on the driver installer, and click on Properties.

> Click the Compatibility tab.

> Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for the box and select the Preferred Windows.

> Click on Apply and click the OK button.

I had the same issue and download the driver from here and it worked in Windows 11

And then My printer program from Canon

I had problems with my MP470 driver so I attached my DVD drive and loaded from the initial install disc and that has worked on my new Windows 11 desk top.

This printed is 3 years old.

This is programmed obsolescence.

There is no win11 driver for that printer

If it doesnt function with the built in win driver, then its time for a new printer
