Why won't my computer print in color?

Our other computer prints fine in color, so I know it is my computer. I no longer have the option to choose color or black and white when I set up my page to print. Nor does the Control Printer Settings provide an option to change my printer preferences from grey scale to color. My photos no longer print in color. There doesn't seem to be any way to change my preference back to color. It was working fine a day ago. I have updated the latest version of Windows 11.

    Hello there, this is Emily.

Good to hear that the other printer prints color fine to rule out the issue being on the printer. This means you most likely need to reinstall the printer driver on the problematic comptuer. The driver is either outdated due to the Windows update or corrupted. What's the printer's brand and model? Normall you can just go to the printer's manufacturer website, search for the printer's model and find the driver for Windows 11, then download and install. I am happy to help you find it if you want to share the brand and model for the printer.

You are welcome. Here is the driver: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/print...

According to HP's website, internet must be connected for this installation. Here is the model support page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservic...

The sites above are non-Microsoft website, but they are from official HP.
