I did not quite get what you meant.
The issue I'm trying to solve is how I get it as "X:\Source>" instead of "X:\windows\system32".

I've been trying to convert my disks from MBR to GPT, however, it did not work.
I followed a guide on a website about solving this issue through disk. This required me to assign one partition as letter : W, and the other as B:.
Then the next step was to run the command "X:\Sources>dir /a W:", but it tells me "X:\Sources us not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"
And I realised I have my cmd as X:\windows\system32> and not X:\Sources
How do I do this?

Hello, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.
"When you are in the RE (Recovery Environment) you will get the temporary RAM drive letter X:\sources>
You would have to change the drive letter to the drive that has Windows on it.
At command prompt (x:\sources) type this exactly as written:
bcdedit |find “osdevice” (Must inc ” and the |), the | before Find is the Upper case \ key) press enter. This will tell you what drive letter the OS is on. It may not be on the C: drive.
Now use the returned as the drive letter for OS, for this example, assume C:\ or whatever drive letter is the OS device.
In the command prompt type the OS drive letter (ie) C:\ or whatever and press Enter..."

I would follow this guide to convert MBR to GPT and UEFI:

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.

I've been going to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Troubleshoot > then Command Prompt. It does still give me the X:. What I'm trying to do is how can I change "X:\windows/system32>" to "X:\Sources>".
Is there something that I should write that will convert it to X:\Sources>?
Greetings,
I can understand the problem faced by you.
Actually this is because The "x:" drive only appears in the recovery mode/ installation mode (Shift+F10)
So for this job you need to boot from your installation media and open the same website on your another device.
And follow the instructions.
It is as simple as that.
Make a windows USB installation media and boot there
