Microsoft Windows Home 11 21H2 (OS Build 22000.1335)

Situation:

Recording my gameplay using OBS Studio.

I would like the ability to either turn off the screen capture warning yellow border (even for a limited time of 2 hours), or change it's colour to something that isn't hurting my eyes. (dark red is fine).

Thank you for your help.

    Hi Dune Drifter,

I did some research on the OBS forums and hundreds f people have indicated that cannot be removed, you are correct it was a security measure added by Microsoft and there is no method or even a registry hack that can remove that border, it is there to alert people if their screen is being recorded, in case some hacker is trying to record their screen.

    Hi Dune Drifter,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Try the method posted on this link to remove that yellow border in OBS Studio, if this does not work, the best option is to post to the OBS Studio Forum hopefully someone there will have a solution or workaround.
