Configure textures on screensaver.

I recently downloaded the classic 3D maze screensaver from Windows 95 and decided to change the textures. But whenever I try, it says I cannot upload them. It looks for BMP files. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I managed to download the screensaver and it works perfectly fine (3D Maze Screensaver for Windows - Screensavers Planet). I have seen some other people manage to get textures working, so I think it is still possible.

    I'm glad to hear it.

I'm trying to find an enthusiasts forum where they might know more about textures on screensaver since it's far beyond what we handle here in this general Windows forum.

I came across this one where there's an existing discussion of Maze screensaver, and you can start a new thread to get a discussion going if desired:

    I hope it helps.

Hello, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

Anything that old will not run any longer on modern hardware. Barely anything from XP will run today unless it's a retro refurb. You may be able to find one since it's popular enough there are videos of it online.

There are some fan Reddit discussions here:

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.
