Downloading Windows 10 HOME Edition

So I bought a product key for the home edition of windows, but for some reason when I run the installation media I never get an option to choose the home edition. It always defaults to Pro. How can I download onto a USB the Home edition of windows so I can put it on my computer? I currently have the PRO edition on my computer and I understand I will have to reset my computer and redownload the whole operating system but before I do that I want to be sure I have the HOME version ready.

    Select Download tool now, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.

    If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.

    On the What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC, and then select Next.

    The application will automatically identify the correct version of windows 10 for your system, from Next.

    Select which media you want to use Create USB Media Instalation.

    After you boot for installation, put that you don't have the product key, it will open a selection list and put windows 10 home.

    Is it a must I have a USB flash drive or a DVD?

    It is because you have previous installed Pro edition, so the next time, it will install the Pro edition as default, You can download it to a bootable USB flashdrive from the Microsoft website

    And if you need a windows 10 home or Pro edition product key, you can get it from keyingo store for a better price

    The Setup process uses the product key (and thus the corresponding Edition) stored in the UEFI. To override that, use the PID.txt method as described in this article.
