My computer can't access certain websites and use some apps or features that requires wifi when it's connected to a certain wifi network

I got a horrible problem with my computer(or probably my wifi network, or the link between them). When it is connected with a certain wifi network, it allowed me to access some websites and apps ( example : youtube.com, facebook.com, remnote.com).On the other hand, i couldn't access to a bunch of websites and using some apps or features( example: quora.com,chess.com,reddit.com,twitter.com,spotify app on pc). The thing is, if i use other devices that is connected to the same wifi network to access those unaccessible websites, it works normally. And if i use 4g or other wifi networks, my computer still lets me to access everything perfectly. Therefore, i assume the problem is individually neither on my computer nor that certain wifi network. It's probably about the conncetion between them (idk what it is ). Can i know what is the issue and how to fix them?

    Hi there

This is Tamal trying to help you with the issue.

You may try setting IPV4 DNS address (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4) manually in the TCP-IP/ adapter settings.

You can do that using two methods, first is written here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cha...

second is, search & run ncpa.cpl from start

    it will open network connections.

double click on the wireless connection>Properties>double click on the Internet protocol version 4, use the following DNS address >8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 in alternate address.

Wow might be a result of steps you took, or the issue was rectified from your internet service provider end. Thank you for the confirmation. Please mark a reply as answer to help others take same steps if they face similar issues. May also choose a rating if you like.

another point to check, if you are using chrome check its internal dns page if it can resolve addresses there & reset its cache chrome://net-internals/#dns

certainly, the issue is with your DNS settings. But we are not being able to resolve it. What you can try open a cmd window & try flushing the dns with ipconfig /flushdns. Later try nslookup & check if the servers there are those you set or something else. in nslookup prompt try resolving websites if their ip is revealed.

Next thing you can try change, set the DNS addresses in your router & if DNS relay function is there turn that off in router settings, that will ensure the set DNS will be leased out to clients & no hidden node issue or cache problem will occur from the router.

Thanks for the support. I actually tried setting IPV4 DNS address like you said before asking this quesion using the second method and unfortuantely, it didn't work. After reading this, i also tried the first method and the result stayed the same. Is there any other method to fix this? By the way, when i access a website, it says that" this site can't be reached " and "ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE".
