I have the Singstar wireless microphone (sleh-00089). Use the generic Windows audio driver.
In earlier windows (Windows 7) it can recognize channel 1 (microphone 1) and channel 2 (microphone 2), but in Windows 10 and 11 it can't recognize channel 2.
Is there a way to install the Windows 7 driver or does anyone have another solution?

Hi there,
I recently had a similar problem with the USB singstar microphones using a Windows 10 64 bit system. (I know you are talking about the wireless ones, however, maybe this solution to the USB singstar microphones could help or work)
I tested the microphones on a 32 bit Windows 10 system as well and they worked so initially I assumed it was a 64 bit driver problem not the case though
I assume you have already selected 2 channel audio in the advanced tab...
After extensive searching, I found someone had posted on Gitter about their experience in getting it to work with the UltraStar program.
They turned off "Enable audio enhancements" in the Advanced Tab in the microphone properties.
This worked for me for my Singstar USB microphones on my system with Windows 10 64 bit (I used Audacity to split the track into 2 by channel and played each track separately and it works!!!)

Hi there,
I cannot get 2 microphones to work in USDX on my laptop. I have the singstar set. I configured them as 2 channels in windows, (and both microphones work in Windows), but in the game only the blue one works.
I tried the same on my desktop PC and there it just works.
Both computers are running windows 10.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

I hope this helps,, if not you could use them on Linux, or maybe WSL if you recompiled the kernel to have USB audio support; use WSLg with Win 10/11 or Pulse Audio server setup with WSL2; and used USBIP. The WSL option would mean download a few GB re kernel source though.... and it would take some time. https://github.com/dorssel/usbipd-win/wiki/WSL-support. You would need to include the USB Audio drivers and perhaps some other modules - these aren't mentioned in the tutorial (eg USB webcams options aren't listed either in tutorial)
(Off topic, As an aside re WSL and USBIP, you can use old scanners without 64 bit drivers in Linux if there is a SANE driver and in conjunction with usbip and other devices if the recompiled WSL kernel is configure with the relevant options for that support and Linux has those drivers for those devices)

Is your adapter a sleh-00089? I tried the same , but it still doesn't use channel 2
The audio driver used by the microphone was the generic windows audio driver.
It worked fine on windows 7.
Hi
Welcome to Microsoft community.
If the microphone driver does not support Windows 10, it cannot continue to be compatible with Windows 10. If you need better driver compatibility support, you need to contact the microphone manufacturer for more accurate contact. Or find relevant forums and consult users like you for more information.
